HGH Products Collision–Supplements vs. Injections

There’s a lot of discussion and news encircling HGH products and their potential benefits and side effects upon the people consuming them. Which HGH products are currently available in the market? Which ones are more popular among users? And how safe are they? Let’s take a look.

There are broadly two kinds of HGH products available in the market:

  1. HGH Injections
  2. HGH Supplements

Before going into the comparison of each, let’s examine the FDA (Food & Drug Administration) approval in using both these forms of HGH.

What FDA Says About Using HGH Injections & Supplements?

HGH in prescribed injection form is permitted to be used by the FDA. This prescription is allowed only on the basis to be used as a hormone growth therapy, and not as anti-aging or performance enhancing. FDA further claims that HGH supplements may imitate HGH-type benefits among its users, but these benefits are not guaranteed or backed-up by the FDA. Moreover, FDA states that the use of HGH should only be confined to treat growth related deficiencies and nothing more!

Comparing Injections with Supplements

  • Synthetic vs. Natural

The most glaring difference between injections and pills is their formation. HGH injections contain synthetic HGH hormones which are injected in the body, resulting in direct HGH enhancement. On the other hand, supplements indirectly enhance the body’s HGH level by stimulating pituitary gland to release its own HGH hormones.

When we take injections, we are taking the hormone itself. But when we take supplements, we are taking only the simulators which will help our body to produce HGH.

  • Prescription Requirements

Injections are a genuine kind of HGH and can’t be used without the prescription of an authorized doctor, while HGH supplements are over-the-counter products and can be legally used without any prescription.

  • Rapidness of Results

Injections supersede supplements in speed. Being ‘real’ hormones, injections show prompt results while supplements may take at least 3 months to start showing noticeable results.

  • Intake amount

Exceeding the stated dose of Injections may become risky and yield certain side effects including joint pain, abnormal enlargement of organs, fluid retention, high blood pressure and even cancer! Comparatively, HGH supplements are simply vitamins and amino acids which impose no threat upon overdose and entail no such fatal side effects.

  • What Happens When You Stop?

When you terminate the use of injections, the aging symptoms may aggravate. Why? It’s because by then your body has adopted the habit to take HGH externally through injections without producing itself. But if you stop taking HGH supplements, your body won’t react so intensely.

  • Affordability

Injections are expensive, too expensive! A month of HGH injection may cost you around $800 and $3000! On the other hand, HGH supplements are inexpensive and can be afforded by any average person looking to raise their life quality.

Which One’s The Best – Injections or Supplements?

Both the HGH products have their own strengths and weaknesses; I can’t streamline ‘the best’ because after all, it all depends upon your individual body requirements and of course also on what your doctor suggests.
